In this episode, we talk with Amanda Burg. Amanda Burg is a Philadelphia based website designer and copywriter for female creatives. After beginning her career as a local journalist, Amanda noticed many small business owners were trying to market their business ineffectively with poor ad and web design. What began as a free-gig and side-hustle creating graphics for businesses to use on social media grew into a successful Etsy shop, and later a six-figure design studio that combines her loves of building brands, designing websites and writing copy that converts. In this episode, we spoke with Amanda about what common mistakes she sees businesses make when it comes to their website and messaging. She gives tips on how to clarify your story as a business in order to elevate your brand. We also speak about the success of her business and what it takes to scale and manage a team.
